A top government integrator is seeking a Sr. Power Apps Developer to support a large health program in Rockville, MD in a Remote capacity.
About the opportunity:
- Location: Remote (local to DMV area)
- Contract Length: Full-time - open-ended contract.
- Hours: Core business hours - EST Hours.
Responsibilities:
The Sr. Power Apps Developer will:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps solutions to enhance the client's operational efficiency and data management capabilities
- Design and develop custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional applications
- Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft 365 services and third-party systems
- Implement and maintain data connections, workflows, and automation using Power Automate
- Ensure the security and compliance of Power Apps solutions in accordance with client policies and regulations
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power Apps applications
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation to empower users to effectively utilize Power Apps
- Stay updated with the latest Power Apps features and best practices to continuously improve the application environment
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required - must pass federal background investigation for a Public Trust
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Power Apps Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and related technologies
- Experience with data integration and management using Microsoft Dataverse, SQL, or SharePoint
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript and Power Fx
- Solid understanding of application security and compliance best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members
Desired Skills:
- Power Platform Developer Associate or similar certification
- Experience working with government clients or in a regulated environment
- Knowledge of Fed Health customer's mission and research initiatives
- Experience supporting in the Federal space
